‘Leader’ Stars Priya Anand Says "I am 1st Herione"

‘Leader’ arrived and the lead cast has got their respective credits, it appears that a small but silent cat fight has begun. This is between the leading ladies, the ravishing seductress Richa Gangopadhyaya and the sweet looking Priya Anand.

Apparently, the first strike seems to have come from Priya who has been reportedly sharing with her friends and close groups that since she was seen first in the film, she is the first heroine of the movie and she is definitely not the second lead as many have been terming it.

Well, given the character etching that director Sekhar Kammula has done for Priya, one doesn’t need any evidence to understand whether she is first or second. However, even if she was a second, there are many who vouch that she has it all to make it big as a lead heroine.

Mighty herione Nagma is getting ready for marriage after her link-ups and break-ups with director Deepak Shivdasani, then Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kissen and eventually former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly, finally she want to settle down now at her late age of 35+.

Krishnudu is pairing up with the stellar beauty Poonam Singar and there is also Ananya. Sources say that the film is a complete comedy riot and yet again, Krishnudu shines with his one liners and different screen presence. It is also heard that the film is being made as a bilingual.

The director of the movie is Bharathi Ganesh while the producer of the film happens to be Balamurugan, Anil Nair and Sudarshan Kumar. Manikant Kadri scored music and Vanamaali penned lyrics. Looking at the pulse, ‘Amayakudu’ is heading towards a likely hit and if that happens, then Krishnudu will be scoring hat-trick success while Poonam Singar would have got a deserving break. Dhee -4 Cming Up on April 1st As ladies Special

As We seen unleashing dancing performances in Dhee -3 which could not attract much telugu audience.‘Dhee’ the dance reality show aired on ETV had recently finished its season-3. Allu Arjun and Sukumar had graced the grand finale and gave away cash prizes worth Rs.1 million to the winners. After this finale of Season-3, Way2tollywood had earlier reported that the producers of the show had planned the new season of ‘Dhee’ as a Ladies special. Dhee-Ladies Special will feature six female choreographers, six contestants and female judges. Shriya Saran has been roped in as the brand ambassador for this ‘Ladies Special’. The latest news is that ‘Dhee-Ladies Special’ will go on air from April 1st. The fourth season of ‘Dhee’ will be aired for six months, once every week on Thursday from 9:30PM to 10:30PM.

Naga Chaitanya to pair up With Tamannah

Naga Chaitanya is going agreeing movies up to his. Tamannah is becoming busy and has signed two films in Telugu. She has already cast opposite Allu Arjun in V V Vinayak’s Badrinath. Now, she will be pairing up with Naga Chaitanya in his next film to be directed by Sukumar. Naga Chaitanya has okayed two films - one for producer D Shiva Prasad Reddy and another with director Sukumar. And both of them will go to the sets this year. Nagarjuna who is currently doing a bilingual film Payanam, has given a positive nod for young director Veeru Potla to direct his next film. As per the sources, Nagarjuna who heard the single line story line narrated by Veeru was impressed by it and asked him to develop it.

Veeru, the writer turned director delivered a successful film Bindas and is hoping to reach the big league with Nag’s film. More details regarding this film are awaited.

'Varudu' releasing On 31St March

Allu Arjun upcmoing Varudu is going to release on March 31. Made on Universal Media banner with DVV Danayya producing it, the film was originally scheduled to release on March 26. The leftover song on Allu Arjun and heroine Kajal in the combination of 50 dancers has been under shoot since March 12.

DVV Danayya said: “Now, we are shooting the song – Khammam Dati Vacchesaka, Gummam thokki Talupeyyala… Orugalle Odinchaka Oyyarale Dulipeyyala…in the choreography of Amma Rajasekhar. We are confident of releasing the flick on March 31. The business report is good in all areas. The audio turned into a chartbuster.”

Highlight of the movie is that it has Tamil hero Arya doing the villain. About 100 families worked for this film.

‘Darling’ creating Huge Bussiness

Prabhas-Kajal starrer ‘Darling’ is gearing up for its big release in April. The latest news is that the distribution rights for Ceded territory have been sold for a whopping sum of Rs.3.10 crores. The entire shooting of the film has been completed except for a song. Sources had earlier reported that the post production of the film is going on in full swing to meet the deadline in April. The film is being directed by Karunakaran. This is first time, Karunakaran who had earlier directed Tholiprema, Ullasanga Utsahanga, has roped in Prabhas to play the lead role. Kajal is the lead actress in this film. Bogavalli Prasad is producingthe film under ‘Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra’ banner. This is Bogavalli Prasad's second film with Prabhas. His earlier film was Chatrapathi. Bapineedu is the executive producer forthe film. The film was shot in Switzerland, Araku among many other locations. The film is gearing up for its release on April 16th.

Selva-Sonia Agarwal Divorce Granted

Chennai family court granted divorce to Selvaraghavan(Sri Raghava) and Sonia Agarwal today. The celebrity couple had filed a mutual consent divorce suit and appeared before the family welfare court on March 9 and informed the court that they are firm in their decision. The court had postponed the verdict to Friday, March 12. Today Justice Ramalingam who heard the case granted divorce to the couple. An enviable couple once, Selvaraghavan and Sonia Agarwal fell in love on the sets of the Tamil film 'Kadhal Kondein'. They got married in December 2006. But the happiness lasted only for two years and they filed for divorce with mutual consent in August 2009.

Varun Sandesh New Movie Titled "Vennello lo Varsham"

Varun Sandesh is now basking in the success of his second film Kotha Bangaru Lokam The film is a hit and is now racing towards the 100 days mark.Varun Sandesh next film would be titled as ‘Vennello lo Varsham’.‘Oye’ fame Anand Ranga is directing this film, produced by Mahi under Moon water pictures.

Goutham son of Telugu top comedian Brahmanadam.Goutham debuted through Pallakilo Pellikooturu, a Telugu film. Now he is coming up with his 2nd film.This is a romantic action entertainer to be produced by Maheswara Rao under Movie Miracles banner introducing Kalyan Manthena as director.

The film shooting will begin from April 1st. Musical scores will be provided by Mahesh Shankar, the ‘Vennela’ fame. There are altogether six songs in the film. The details of the heroine and the remaining cast will be announced very soon.

According to sources, Allu Aravind is planning to rope inNaga Chaitanya for a film under his mega banner, Geetha Arts. MM Keeravani scoring Music For Badrinath

Allu Arjun's & Vinayak Great combo Badrinath will see MM Keeravani scoring the music. Thus, it is the first time that the talented musician is composing music for a VV Vinayak film, though he gave a stupendous album for the actor's debut film, Gangotri.

The Geetha Arts-produced film will soon go on the floors, sometime in April. Meanwhile, selection of the technical crew is running at a brisk pace.

Keeravani, it seems, after the big break of Magadheera, is interested to score for siginificant projects, because just as this-generation musicians like Devi Sri and Mani Sharma, he is most bankable.

Tamanna is playing the female lead, while Arjun will be seen in an interesting role that will have mass as well as class hues.

Anushka in to 'Muni' Sequel

Lawrence Raghavendra the choreographer cum director turned actor is all set to direct sequel for his hit film ‘Muni’. Lawrence had earlier directed films such as ‘Mass,’ ‘Style,’ ‘Don’ and ‘Muni’. Muni has Lawrence himself in the lead role. According to sources, the sequel also will have Lawrence in the male lead and Anushka Shetty has been roped in as female lead in the film. The movie will be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil versions. Kanchana is the title under consideration for the sequel.

Kamal Hassan new flick music By Devi Sri

The Most Versatile actor 'Kamal Hassan' is known for experimenting with his films. In the past, he has shown us that he can do films from ‘Abhay’, ‘Dasavatharam’ to ‘Panchatantram’, ‘Tenali’ with great ease. Now, he’s gearing up to do a comedy film in K.S.Ravikumar’s direction. Udhayanidhi Stalin is producing the film on ‘Red Giant Movies’ banner. Trisha and Madhavan are going to share the screen space with Kamal Hassan in this film. This is the first time that Kamal Hassan and Trisha are acting together. Kamal Hassan and Madhavan had earlier worked together in ‘Satyame Shivam’. Interestingly, Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose the music for this film. He had earlier composed the background score for Kamal’s ‘Dasavatharam’. This untitled film will go on sets sometime soon.

Allu Arjun’s ‘Varudu’ on April 2nd

Much awaiting film of Allu Arjun’s ‘Varudu’ has been postponed by a week. The film which was supposed to release earlier on March 26th, will now release on April 2nd. The main reason behind this delay is the hand fracture which Allu Arjun had while shooting for a song earlier this month. Due to this, the re-recording for the film has been delayed and it resulted in the overall delay of the release of the film. 123telugu.com had earlier reported that the satellite rights of the film have been reportedly sold for Rs.3.5 crores and the latest news is that Gemini TV has secured these rights. Gunasekhar has directed this film and DVV Danayya has produced the film on ‘Universal Media’ Banner. Mani Sharma has composed the music.

Arthi Agarwal to Look In Hot Roles

Crazy Star Ravi Teja is making this year 2010 as much more crazy with unlimited of his movies. With handful of projects in hand, Ravi Teja is still bagging many big projects into his kitty. The crazy star has recently bagged an offer to feature in a new flick titled ‘Mirapakaya’ with a tagline ‘Veedu Chaala Hot Guru’.

The film will be directed by Harish Shankar who earlier directed Shock with Ravi Teja. Apart from wielding the megaphone, Harish is handling the dialogues, screenplay and story too. Ramesh Pushpala is producing the flick under the banner RR Movie makers. Ravi Teja is currently busy with ‘Don Seenu’ opposite Trisha under the banner RR Movie Makers in Gopichand Malineni’s direction.

‘Mirapakaya’ will hit the floors in the month of May.
